Don’t forget us as you do your Christmas shopping. We have gift certificates!
Dougette has officially retired and is enjoying the easier pace in our house along with her sister Meghan. She likes to visit the dog yard and tell her kids and grandkids who is still boss!
In these busy times it is nice to be able to offer people an experience that is “unplugged” away from phones, news and a chance to connect to nature. The dogs are always happy, don’t judge and don’t care what day of the week it is!
We are happy to be starting our 30th winter guiding dogsledding trips! We have many repeat clients and are now guiding their kids and sometimes grandkids!
Our winter apprenticeship is still available for someone who would like to learn how to mush dogs, a traditional style of winter camping, meet many nice people and spend much of your time outside!
Here is a video about us here at Mahoosuc to give you a birds eye view of who we are, hope you enjoy it.

Protected by the citizens of Maine through a referendum in 1966, the mandate was to preserve its “forever wild” state. It truly is some of the wildest areas left in the east. In this article, we’ll help […]
I can’t say enough about what a great trip this has been! It was such a pleasure to see the way a trip really should be run. You move so quietly and efficiently to accomplish setting up camp, producing wonderful meals, taking care of everyone.
