The winter started late but we have been in full swing with back to back trips since early in the month. People are making memories that will last a life time and this makes us feel good! We have welcomed Anne, as our winter apprentice, who is an International Appalachian Trail Hiker and originally from Texas. Thank you Anne for all of your help here at Mahoosuc!
Once again we have had some good PR coverage including this article in the The Travel and a nicely written blog by a client from last year that you can read or listen to, thank you Sharon!
Sadly we had to say goodbye to Kerry who was 13 years old. She was one of Kevin’s dogs and ran lead in his second team for years. She was a very vocal gal and he used to call her his “little noise maker”. She had a couple of nice years of retirement here in our doggy senior center and enjoyed any and all attention she could get from anyone, a very social gal! She is being missed…

A very belated thank you so very much for making my 50th birthday surprise extra special! I’ve been wanting to do this since I moved to Maine in 2001! Words are insufficient expressing the beauty of watching you and the pups work together as one. Gliding through nature at their level and speed gives a whole new perspective. The excitement and energy in their eyes was glorious! As a dog and nature lover, there was something special in this experience that even exceeded my highest expectations. Thank you for the wonderful homemade lunch as well. The personal touches you wove into the day sent it over the top. We are looking forward to our next (longer) experience with you and the pups. Thank you thank you thank you so much. We love who you are and what you do. Thank you for letting us experience this wonder with you!
