January has been a month of activity here at Mahoosuc!
The winter started late but we have been in full swing with back to back trips since early in the month. People are making memories that will last a life time and this makes us feel good! We have welcomed Anne, as our winter apprentice, who is an International Appalachian Trail Hiker and originally from Texas. Thank you Anne for all of your help here at Mahoosuc!

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Kerry who was 13 years old. She was one of Kevin’s dogs and ran lead in his second team for years. She was a very vocal gal and he used to call her his “little noise maker”. She had a couple of nice years of retirement here in our doggy senior center and enjoyed any and all attention she could get from anyone, a very social gal! She is being missed…
