This has been a time to accept what we can’t change and enjoy the moments we have…
We feel lucky to live in such a special place in the Mahoosuc Mountains surrounded by green beauty!
Kevin has been busy working on canoes in his workshop, both building and renovating wood canvas canoes. He also taught a white water clinic on the Androscoggin River in Errol, NH.
Polly has guided a couple canoeing day trips in the Umbagog Lake area. She has also been support for multiple youth groups camping here as a base in the mountains for paddling, hiking and climbing in the area. It has been nice to have the youthful energy around with singing, playing instruments and frisbee!
We have a couple Allagash trips coming up this fall, one is full and one has room: September 27-October 2. Click here to read a blog we wrote for Natural Resources Council of Maine about paddling the Allagash and benefits of going with a guide.
Both of our Way of the Wabanaki trips are happening, one is full and one has openings: September 17-20th. Click here to see a short video about the experiences we offer with the Penobscots.
Our dogsledding schedule is available and we are now taking bookings for this 2020/2021 winter season. The dogs can’t wait for cooler temperatures!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the last month of summer!
