The dogs are getting ready to pull in harness as the days are finally cooling off enough to start running them. This winter proves to be very busy with many bookings already. Click here to see the 2021/22 dog sledding schedule. Here is a nice video put together by some clients a couple of years ago of their time with us. We really enjoyed having them out with us!
We welcome Auden as one of our winter apprentices. He is already learning a lot and he has already won over the affection of our shy dogs!
We are working on setting up our winter camps by freighter canoe getting ready before freeze up. It is very quiet and beautiful on the lake right now as we are the only people on it except a few ducks and loons.
Kevin has been teaching some paddle making workshops in his wood shop in October. Polly just returned from a nice canoe trip on the Green River in Utah!

Hosting a real authentic dog sledding trip is not easily done… although many try, but no one can duplicate the experience that Polly and Kevin have been providing for almost forty years. Guests are pampered with thoughtful considerations, useful instructions, wonderful stories, tasty food and a witnessing of the incredible care levels of their dogs.
